SYTYCD

Tonight was the audition episode in Phoenix. It started off with a very enjoyable hip-hop routine that sent the guys through to choreography. A slew of female contemporary dancers impressed the judges and were given tickets straight through to Vegas, including the first girl of the day to audition. We had a heartfelt story of a deaf young woman that was sent through to choreography, which was fair based on her talent.

We had more same-sex ballroom dancing, but this couple was much more skilled than the couple we had seen previously and were put through to choreography. We also got to see our first Bollywood disco number of the show's history to wrap the first day's auditions. After the choreography round, the deaf dancer as well as both members of the same-sex ballroom dancers were through to Vegas.

The second day of auditions started with a very enthusiastic and hyper young man who really only had one good move but danced his heart out and was sent through to choreography. The highlighted B-Boy, Legacy, choreographed with Lauren last year and was sent straight through to Vegas.

10 words or less: Next week, off to Boston.
