Quickfire Challenge: Tonight's guest judge is Beard Award winner Michelle Bernstein. The challenge is to make a dish that showcases the angel and devil sides of their cuisine. The winner of the quickfire received immunity in the elimination challenge. Least favorites included Ash, Bryan, and Laurine. Favorites included Michael, Eli, and Robin, with Robin being the ultimate winner. Thus, Robin will not be going home again this week, against many of the other chefs' wishes.

Elimination Challenge: Penn and Teller, the magicians, entered the kitchen explaining the classic ball and cup hiding trick. Because they deconstructed the trick and showed how it was done, the chefs will be deconstructing a classic dish chosen by drawing knives.

The favorites of the night were Ashley's pot roast, Jennifer's meat lasagne, Michael's Caesar salad, and Kevin's chicken mole. Kevin won for truly embracing the essence of deconstruction, and further won a set of Calphalon cookware. The least favorite dishes included Laurine's fish and chips, Ron's paella, and Ash's shepherd's pie. In the end, Ron was sent to pack his knives and go.

10 words or less: Some look hard to beat, even at their weakest.
