Sydney White

This movie is about a girl who goes off to college and tries to join her deceased mother's sorority. However, the head of the sorority, who also essentially runs the school through fear, is an absolute bitch who wants to destroy Sydney for fun. Sydney then meets up with a group of geeky guys who live in a ramshackle house that the mean girl wants to take over for her own good.

The movie is based on the story of Snow White, but this time it is Sydney White and the 7 Geeks. She helps them fix up their house, get dates, and get more respect around campus. She teaches them how to socialize, while endearing herself to the entire school. As she works her way up the school's social ladder, the bitch, representing the evil queen, plots her demise and takes down everyone she has to to achieve her goals. This being a comedy, it has the expected ending.

This was not my first time seeing it, but I really enjoyed this film. I loved how it paralleled with Snow White. The geeks were fantastic, and the bitch was really evil. Amanda Bynes is a beautiful actress and played the part of Syndey perfectly. She has that girl-next-door quality that endears her to just about everyone, which is why she is so believable in this part. I highly recommend this film to everyone, as it has enough humor of different kinds that all ages will find it amusing.
