This is a British television series written and starring Simon Pegg. It tells the story of a cartoonist who works at a comic store and an unemployed writer, both in their twenties, who pose as a married couple to get an apartment. After moving in together, they have to keep up the ruse to keep their abode. We get to meet their friends and see into their lives and awkward situations they get themselves in to.

I love, love, love Simon Pegg. He steals any scene he is in when it comes to movies. He totally made Shaun of the Dead, and stole each one of his scenes in Star Trek. When I found out about this series, I knew I had to see it. I think the first season was better than the second, but the completion of Season 2 was a perfect ending for the series. As with all series, some of the episodes were significantly better than others. The Star Wars episode particularly stands out, but the finale was also remarkable. If you like British humor and are a child of the 1990's, this is a great series. However, just as a note, this series does contain a large number of pop culture references, which may not make sense to people not familiar with that era.

10 words or less: Perfect vehicle for Simon Pegg, mostly because he wrote it.
