Tonight we continued with Vegas week for Season 6. we started off the episode with a jazz routine by Laurine Gibson. We saw a husband and wife team be split when the husband was eliminated. In general, this was a really rough round, and we saw several cuts of people highlighted throughout the auditions. The krumper once again made it through with flying colors, and everyone finds it hard to believe that he hasn't had any other training.

The next round was one of my least favorites from every season. Groups of dancers had to choreograph a routine to a randomly selected piece of music. The first group did a really fabulous Broadway routine, which included Russell, the krumper. Luckily, we didn't have to watch too much of it, and only had to watch one other complete routine.

Next round was contemporary with Mia Michaels choreographing. I do find it a little odd that Mia gets to be a judge during a round that she choreographed. Of course the contemporary dancers did pretty well in this round, but the hip hop dancers also really brought a lot of talent. Legacy was the last dancer showcased in this round, and he was very overwhelmed by emotion. Surprisingly, he survived the round, even with dancing not as well as others even to the inexperienced eye.

Up next was the final round of choreography, with a Broadway routine by Tyce DiOrio. For this round, the guys and girls were split into two groups. The girls were up first, and we got to see a probable broken ankle in the first group to perform, but it wound up being just a bad sprain. 17 girls made it through the last round of choreography, then it was on to the guys. 7 guys were cut, and the remaining dancers proceeded to perform in their own style one last time for the judges.

10 words or less: Next time we'll meet the top 20.
