I got to watch this movie today! I realize this movie is around 20 years old, but I had actually never seen it. I have absolutely nothing against mob or gangster movies, and actually really enjoy most of them. But somehow, this never made it onto my must-see list.
This movie was extremely well done, and I can see why it was nominated for so many awards. It kept me interested for the entire 2 1/2 hours, and you could really feel for the characters and feel like part of their lives. I cringed as Tommy and Jimmy both started going nuts.
I now understand why many people consider this a classic, even though it is not that old. This is a movie that everyone should see at least once.
