Into the Wild

I was really looking forward to seeing this movie because of how much I like the book. I must say, the movie did not disappoint. The acting was wonderful, and I think Emile Hirsch was a perfect choice for the main character. The scenery was gorgeous. While Sean Penn did change the story somewhat, he kept the main plot points as they were in the book. Even the music worked fantastically well, with Eddie Vedder’s voice gritty enough to suit the wild Alaskan wilderness. Overall, I highly recommend this movie.
