Quickfire Challenge: The chefs need to cook the best meal they can using $20 and only one aisle of the grocery store, which corresponds to the number on the knife they chose. Michael won this challenge with his chocolate parfait.
Elimination Challenge: The challenge is to create a dish using 7 items from a mystery box prepared by a rival chef and made for culinary students. Art Smith won the challenge with a Southern fried chicken dish and is the last chef to move on to the champions round.
