We Own The Night is a movie starring Mark Whalberg, Joachin Phoenix, and Robert Duvall. Robert Duvall plays the police chief and Mark Whalberg his son and an officer in his precinct who are starting a new taskforce to taake down the leading drug lords in the area. Phoenix plays another son who is a promoter at some local night clubs. Unfortunately, he winds up being busted in a drug crackdown, after which all kinds of bad things happen.
I watched this movie primarily for the actors and not for the storyline. Thank goodness for that. I didn't care too much for this movie in general. The acting was OK, the story was OK, but there wasn't much else going for it. I would have to say this movie was mediocre at best.
